1.1 STATE OF COMPLIANCE
The BNP Paribas Well of History website (https://history.bnpparibas/) does not comply with the French Accessibility Improvement Guidelines (RGAA), version 4.0 due to the non-conformities listed below.
The site is currently being redesigned. A new conformity audit will be carried out on the new version.
1.2 DRAWING UP THIS ACCESSIBILITY DECLARATION
This declaration was drawn up on 01/10/2020.
1.3 RESULTS OF THE TESTS
The audit compliance performed in-house indicates 35% of the GAAR version 4.0 criteria taken into account in the analysis are met.
The audit was carried out on the basis of a checklist of the main themes of the RGAA criteria and with specific attention paid to the elements of image management (criteria 1.1 and 1.3), colour contrasts (criterion 3.2), multimedia (criteria 4.1 and 4.3), tables (criterion 5.1) and links (criterion 6). 1), the use of scripts (criteria 7.3 and 7.4), the presence of compulsory elements (criteria 8.3 and 8.5), the structuring of information in general (criterion 9.1), presentation (criteria 10.6 and 10.7), navigation (criteria 12.1, 12.2, 12.7 and 12.8) and consultation (criteria 13.3 and 13.4).
The framework theme is not part of this analysis.
1.4 INACCESSIBLE CONTENT
-
1.1 Does each image conveying information have a textual alternative?
In the folders, the information-carrying images are not filled in.They are commented with an element <p> instead of a caption <figcaption>.
-
3.2 In each web page, is the contrast between the colour of the text and the colour of its background sufficiently high (except in special cases)?
Many elements of the site are not sufficiently contrasted. Throughout the site, there is insufficient contrast between the colour of the text and its background.
-
6.1 Is each link explicit (except in special cases)?
In many places on the site, links or images with several URLs in a set can be found. This problem can be noticed in any element of the Folders page.
-
7.3 Can each script be controlled by the keyboard and by any pointing device (except in special cases)?
Filter actions are not accessible from the keyboard, neither the chronology nor the filters next to them on the Annual Report page. Similar errors can be seen on the Geography page, where the regions and themes are not accessible either. When subscribing to the newsletter, the options cannot be ticked either.
-
9.1 In each web page, is the information structured by the appropriate use of titles?
The use of title levels is generally respected, but on the Dossiers page there is a title jump. There is a change from an h1 title to an h3 title.
-
10.7 In each web page, for each element receiving the focus, is the focus capture visible?
Keyboard navigation does not allow you to see the focus on the entire site. It would be advisable to better identify the focus by framing the focused element.
-
Critère 12.7. In each web page, is there an avoidance or quick access link to the main content area (except in special cases)?
No presence of an avoidance link to directly access the main content.
-
13.3 On each web page, does each office document available for download have, if necessary, an accessible version (except in special cases)?
The documents are not downloadable, they will not be available in an accessible version either.
